What made you want to become a teacher?

My parents have always been in this profession so it's been pretty easy for me to follow in their footsteps.

How long have you been teaching?

This is my 5th year (07-08).

Have you always wanted to be a teacher?

I've always wanted to coach because I was so involved in athletics, but I had also wanted to become a Physical Therapist.  I ended up choosing coaching.

Where did you grow up?

I grew up near Corpus Christi and we moved to Post when I was a freshman.  I graduated from Post High School.

Are you married?  If so to whom?

Yes, Dusty Griffin, a local girl from Olton.

What college did you graduate from?

University of North Texas.

Do you have any children?  If so, what are their names?

Nope.  Two dogs, Ace and Tucker.

What subjects and grades do you teach?

6th, 7th, and 8th PE, 6th grade Social Studies
